Description:
Using full-sized photos as backgrounds of websites. The trick is to have images adjust to varying monitor sizes elegantly.

Fluid Layout
Description:
Instead of laying page elements horizontally and then vertically, this fluid layout minimizes gaps of elements of varying height, much like a mason would with stones.

We're hoping to do a custom layout for a client that incorporates this, and then look at incorporating it into our CMS, probably with image galleries.

Parallax View
Description:
Parallax View simulates the effect of objects at different distances seeming to move at different rates. Many old scroller video games used this.

We almost tried this with the clouds at the top of our SiteStrux site, but it didn't quite make sense. We love the effect, but still not sure about practical application.

After experimenting with jQuery, Flash, and HTML5, we decided to work with a Flash implementation.
