Along with adding our content management system, we also ended up doing a nice homepage template, and custom-created a very clear, detailed, and attractive product catalog.
Our latest site launch is B2B Baseball of Manheim, PA.
We started by creating a new logo and then designed a colorful look based on baseball themes. We also added a homepage treatment with a Flash gallery to highlight some great photography of their facility.
The latest and perhaps the most complex module that we now offer is the Membership Module. It has been over a year in the making and now is ready to shine.
Site Protection
It is capable of protecting the whole site, or just individual pages. The membership module works with individual usernames and passwords so it is easy to change an individual's account without affecting anybody else.
Registration
Setup the membership so that any visitor can register to become a member. They could have immediate access or an admin can configure it to require approval first. Not allowing any registration also is an option.
Member Profiles
Setup member profiles and allow members to customize their profiles, even add a picture.
Member Directory
The membership module offers a member directory where member profiles are displayed. This is great for organizations with a large user base that needs access to other member's contact information.
Sub Profiles
Add members to a parent profile, an example of this would be "The Johnson Family". Every family member would show up as part of this "parent" profile.
We're pleased to announce that HAAN USA has selected SiteStrux to develop their corporate website.
HAAN produces floor sanitizers and steamers and sells internationally. HAAN chose SiteStrux for their combination of design and technology expertise.
Along with using the SiteStrux Content Management Design, SiteStrux will be developing custom applications for customer and retailer management.
The latest module we have added is the Registration Module. This allows users to register for events and event planners to communicate with them. In addition, it handles related items such as limiting the number of available registrants.
Some Features Include:
4 Tiered Registration - allowing you to break up the registration event into as much detail as you need.
Limitation Tools - limit the number of registrations for the whole event, or just per registrant.
Registration Inputs - add additional inputs that registrants have to fill out. E.g. Enter your phone number.
Reporting Tools - See who has registered and send e-mails to individuals or groups of registrants.
Every design company faces the struggle of designing their own site.
Usually this can be a painful process. Not only do you rarely have time finish all the amazing ideas you might have for your site, it can be difficult to think objectively enough about your own company to craft the right messaging. The whole thing can be rather excruciating.
Somehow, this time around was different. We enjoyed it.
We knew from the beginning that we wanted to change how we presented ourselves. When we started 5 years ago we thought of ourselves as a product company that sold a CMS solution.
5 years and hundreds of websites later, that's changed. We now consider ourselves a service company, one where CMS is merely a single tool in our overall offering.
And where as most product company sites are somewhat sterile and generic, we felt our new thinking enabled us to inject more personality in our site.
And that's what we've done. We want to emphasize our Lancaster roots, our "whole-brain" approach, and that we like to have fun with this company of ours.

We had a great time working with Securus and really got to know their business. The challenge was to inject some personality into an insurance company, and we think the result pulled it off nicely.
We ended up doing a nice homepage template, flash video, and structuring the services in very clear, attractive structure.
